Company History

The company was founded on January 1st 1993.
Production was taken up as an individual enterprise, in the facilities of an earlier nationally owned enterprise.
The headquarters of GMV Manufacturer of Glass-Metal-Connectors was located in Haselbach in Thuringia.

In 1995, headquarters was relocated to Steinbach / Thuringia. The company was finally able to begin product manufacturing in their own facilities.

Extensive remodeling of the facilities took place and in 2000 GMV Steinach moved into the new facilities.
GMV Steinach changed to a GmbH (Limited Liability Company) on January 1st 1999. The next step up, was in 2004, to GMV Steinbach GmbH & Co. KG. (Limited Partnership Company).

Currently, this family-owned enterprise employs 25 people and serves customers world-wide.
